9th INTERNATIONAL MEETING OF WOMEN PERFORMANCE AND LIVE ART ARTISTS
17th NOVEMBER – 1st DECEMBER 2012 GIRONA, BARCELONA & SABADELL
FEM is an annual International Festival of Live Art and Performance Art which showcases the work of exceptional women artists from around the world. FEM is recognised internationally as a unique artist-led event for women that offers the public a special opportunity to meet the artists as well as generating possibilities for interaction and learning. This year we are celebrating the 9th edition of FEM. The programme includes collaborations with other organisations and events in Barcelona, Sabadell as well as Girona. We are also offering opportunities for the general public to become involved in our programme and have extended an open invitation to participate in many of the events. Conscious of the economic climate we have kept all of the activities free of charge.
INTERNATIONAL DAY FOR THE ELIMINATION OF VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN.
This year we have changed the opening date of the festival from the 8th March; International Women’s Day to the 25th November to coincide with International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women.
